Insulated side sectional doors are characterized by satisfactory, but not excellent, sealing capabilities. The high security of double-coated insulated side sectional doors makes them ideal for garages that are not intended for constant heating and temperature maintenance inside the garage.
In addition, insulated side sectional doors offer a wide range of dimensions, a variety of colors, and finishing options, as well as very modern "designer" doors.
Why insulation?
There are three simple reasons to choose insulated side sectional garage doors:
- Increased panel strength for improved security.
- Satisfactory, though not excellent, thermal insulation properties.
- To break the thermal bridge, consequently preventing condensation on the inner side of the garage doors.
None of the insulated side sectional garage doors supplied by KIP KOP d.o.o. contain CFC; they are filled with polyurethane foam, and the structural plate is made of galvanized steel with double coating.
The construction of 40 mm thick panels provides exceptional strength and reduces damage from impacts and collisions.
Properly installed insulated side sectional doors offer satisfactory sealing, reducing heating costs in adjacent rooms, such as storage areas, throughout the year while maintaining a consistent temperature in the garage. This is ideal for storing valuable collector's vehicles or other valuable items that could be damaged in humid conditions. Additional accessories are available for further improving insulation properties (additional top seals, brush seals, bottom seals, etc.) upon request.
